ELIGIBILITY

The Truckers-Nation Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Truckers-Nation, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

Void where prohibited by law.

AGREEMENT TO RULES

By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Truckers-Nation as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Sweepstakes.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

Entries will be accepted online starting on January 1st each year and ending on December 31st each year. Winners will be announced every month on the 1st of that month for the previous months entries. All online purchase entries, no-purchase entries, and in-store entries must be received by the last day of each month following the end of each month’s period (example: January 31st, February 28th, April 30th).

HOW TO ENTER

The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry provided at http://www.truckers-nation.com/enter-now Entries are also accepted by purchasing in-store at truck stop locations (locations to be announced & may vary) be sure to ask an associate for more info if needed. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. There are five (5) entry methods: three (3) paid entry options, one (1) in-store entry option, and one (1) no-purchase necessary entry option. More information on the no-cost entry method can be found on the “official rules” page on the website. You may enter as many times as you like. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Truckers-Nation. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Truckers-Nation.

PRIZES

Each month, one (1) Winner will receive a brand new, never owned tractor. Eligible tractors may include models from the current model year or up to three (3) prior model years, as determined solely by TRUCKERS-NATION and subject to availability. However, fully electric semi-trucks are not available in our giveaways at this time. Should a future year feature only fully electric models from a specific make, the winner will instead receive the most recent non-electric version of that make and model. We are continually assessing advancements in technology and may consider offering electric trucks as they become more widely available. Subject to availability, winners will be able to choose between the following trucks: Freightliner Cascadia, Kenworth T680, Volvo VNL 760, and Peterbilt 579. The value of each prize ranges from $175,000 to $215,000. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Truckers-Nation. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Truckers-Nation’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Truckers-Nation to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

ODDS

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable sweepstakes period. Each eligible entry has an equal chance of being selected.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winner will be selected by random drawing under the supervision of Truckers-Nation. Winner will be notified by email and phone within 3-5 days following selection of Winner. Truckers-Nation shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU

By entering this content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that Truckers-Nation, anyone acting on behalf of Truckers-Nation, and Truckers-Nation’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, photo, video, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Truckers-Nation. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Truckers-Nation from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Truckers-Nation may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Truckers-Nation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Truckers-Nation’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Truckers-Nation may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Truckers-Nation. Truckers-Nation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Truckers-Nation has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Truckers-Nation reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. For each giveaway period, total entries must surpass 50% of the initial cost of the prize (ranging from $175,000 to $215,000) for there to be a winner announced. Therefore, if total entries do not reach intended goal, all eligible entries for that month will be entered into the following months entries.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Truckers-Nation and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

DISPUTES

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF GEORGIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Georgia having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS

Truckers-Nation is committed to supporting charitable causes. For each entry made in the Truckers-Nation Sweepstakes, a portion of the entry fee will be donated to select charities chosen by Truckers-Nation. The charities we support may vary, and details of current charities and donation amounts can be found on our website.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you acknowledge and agree that a portion of your entry fee will be allocated towards charitable contributions. Truckers-Nation reserves the right to determine the percentage of each entry fee that will be donated to charities, as well as the selection of charities to receive donations. We may update the list of supported charities from time to time, and such updates will be reflected on our website.

TAX OBLIGATIONS

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt and/or use. Winners may be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize.

COMPLIANCE STATEMENTS

The Truckers-Nation Sweepstakes complies with all applicable federal and state laws. Where required, the Sweepstakes will be registered and bonded. Specific state requirements include:

New York, Florida, Rhode Island: The Sweepstakes may be subject to registration and bonding in these states.

MISCELLANEOUS

By entering the Sweepstakes, You agree to receive email newsletters periodically from Truckers-Nation. You can opt-out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

Any personal data submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used solely in accordance with Truckers-Nation’s privacy policy.
